Foxconn and Intel have entered a strategic partnership to build AI infrastructure

Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn, the world’s largest server system assembler for Nvidia, announced that it has signed an agreement with Intel. Under the collaboration, the companies plan to jointly develop and deploy next‑generation infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent computing platforms.

What does this mean?
- Combining technologies

Foxconn will combine Intel’s chip manufacturing experience with its own electronics assembly skills. This will enable the creation of equipment focused on data centers – a key element of AI infrastructure.

- New solutions for data centers

Plans include server racks based on Intel Xeon processors and specialized AI accelerators. In addition, high‑speed networking connections, cooling systems, and energy‑efficient solutions will be developed.

The partnership also covers the development of AI systems for industrial enterprises, smart cities, and robotics. As Foxconn board chairman Young Liu notes, joint efforts will combine both companies’ strengths in computing platforms, system integration, and global supply chains.
