ASRock launches new “unattended” cooling systems in Japan
The company ASRock has unveiled two new solutions for high‑performance workstations that will be available on the Japanese market from May 1.
| Model | Target Platform | Max Thermal Load |
|---|---|---|
| WS TR 360D | AMD Threadripper CPUs (sTR5, SP6, sWRX9, sWRX8, sTRX4, TR4, SP3) | 500 W |
| WS XE 360D | Intel Xeon W platforms (LGA 4677, LGA 4710) | 500 W |
Key features
* Radiator – 360 mm in diameter and 38 mm thick. A fully covered copper plate ensures efficient heat dissipation.
* Pump power – a redundant system with two pumps designed for up to 500 W load and intended for continuous, maintenance‑free operation.
* Safety – an integrated audible alarm alerts when one of the pumps fails.
* Fans – two 120‑mm LCP fans with industrial dual‑row ball bearings, dust and moisture protection (IP54), and a full‑stop function. Max speed 3000 RPM, airflow up to 89.7 CFM, static pressure up to 4.7 mm H₂O.
Price
Both models will be sold in Japan at ¥69,800 (≈ $438) including taxes.
Thus, ASRock expands its line of “unattended” cooling systems by offering solutions capable of dissipating up to 500 W and maintaining stable operation of high‑performance workstations based on AMD Threadripper and Intel Xeon W.
