New graphics cards GeForce RTX 5050 and Radeon RX 9070 have been added to the Steam hardware list.
New Valve Data on Steam Hardware and Software
Valve released fresh statistics on the hardware and software used by Steam platform users. In April, the growth in popularity of Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 graphics cards continues: now all desktop accelerator models from this series appear in the Steam ranking, including the newcomer – GeForce RTX 5050.
Desktop GeForce RTX 5000 Series – Total Share Among User Devices: 10.8 %.
- Adding mobile versions of the RTX 50‑series increases the overall share to 13.41 %.

AMD – New Players
The Radeon RTX 9070 accelerator entered the Steam ranking, with an April share of 0.17 %. The most popular desktop card from AMD became the RX 7800 XT, holding a share of 1.22 %, which is 0.17 % higher than the previous month.
Processors and Memory – Apple M2
The Apple M2 entered the list of user graphics cards: its share is 1.77 %.
- In the RAM segment, there is a shift toward larger modules.
- PCs with 16 GB RAM accounted for 23.51 % (up 1.98 % from March).
- Devices with 8 GB RAM remain the largest group – 26.76 %, but their share fell by 0.76 %.
These figures show a trend toward increased power of graphics cards and memory among Steam users in April.
