What is *Windrose*?
*Windrose* is a game that claims the status of a true pirate adventure. Unlike projects that merely copy visual and audio tropes of maritime themes, this game immerses the player in a genuine sense of freedom, fun, and danger that can be happily described to friends.

Plot
The game begins with the tragic death of the main character: a bullet hits the heart, the ship sinks, and everything valuable—including a mysterious ancient relic—disappears. But death will not stop experienced sea robbers!

You wake up on an uninhabited island with only a broken sabre and an empty pistol. Your task is to survive, gather resources, upgrade weapons and gear, and then return to the sea.

Survival
* Resource gathering – wood, stone, metal, food.
* Tool upgrading – from simple to complex, allowing you to harvest rarer materials.
* Base – build a shelter, fortify it, and increase your strength.

Once the island is secure, you can think about distant horizons.

Travel
* Old vessel – a small dinghy that allows you to reach nearby islets. The open sea is dangerous: without the correct course, the ship may drift far from its target.
* Respawn points – set them immediately after landing on a new island to avoid long returns to base upon death.

Goals
1. Save the crew – find and free crew members who are in captivity.
2. Restore the vessel – collect wreckage and repair it for full sailing.
3. Master the waters – once you have a reliable ship, you can move freely across the map.

Map and Progress
The map is divided into zones with recommended levels. If you venture into an unsuitable zone, you may encounter a strong enemy immediately. Therefore it is important to:
* Upgrade the ship.
* Develop character skills.
* Choose equipment and weapons that provide additional advantages.

Quests
*Windrose* has plenty of content: the main quest to find the stolen relic, side quests, exploration of new islands, etc. Each opens new opportunities for character and crew development.
