Nvidia confirmed deliveries of HBM4 from three leading memory manufacturers

Server system deliveries for Vera Rubin will begin next quarter

In the near future, the launch of Vera Rubin generation servers is expected, which will be equipped with Nvidia accelerators featuring HBM4 memory. At a recent press conference, company head Jensen Huang confirmed that all three major memory manufacturers have certified their products to meet Nvidia’s requirements.

Only these three companies are currently manufacturing HBM4, limiting the supplier list to three.

Brief history of Samsung
Samsung remains the largest overall memory producer but was unable to pass HBM3E certification for a long time. As a result, SK hynix took the leading position in this segment. However, by the time HBM4 launched, the company had already begun deliveries and even shipped samples of the newer HBM4E memory.
