San Francisco launches an egg‑cooking robot

Cheffy from San Francisco has introduced a new kitchen assistant – E.G.O.R. (Egg Go On Robot), which specializes exclusively in carefully cracking and cooking eggs in various ways.

How it works – Crack without spillage – whole eggs are loaded into the device, and patented technology ensures that the contents do not spill out while the shell remains outside the dish.

- Preparation for cooking – an electric burner is located next to the egg chamber, where you can place a frying pan or pot.

Cooking capabilities – Eggs of all sizes are supported – from small to large farm‑grade varieties.

- The robot can cook seven different egg dishes without human intervention.
- Frying – up to two eggs at once.
- Boiling – up to six eggs at a time.
- There is a separate “Just Crack” mode if you only need plain beaten product.

Convenience of use – A timer allows you to start cooking at a pre‑set time instead of immediately upon pressing the button.

- The interface consists of a small round display and three physical buttons, making operation simple even in the early morning.

What’s next? At present E.G.O.R. is not yet available to the general public. Cheffy is collecting applications for early access to the device, and the price has not been disclosed yet. When new details emerge, the company will definitely announce them.
